The rapid growth of our firm brings an opportunity to join one of Northwestern Mutual’s premier offices as a Marketing Associate. POSITION DESCRIPTION The Marketing Associate is responsible for managing day-to-day marketing initiatives as well as helping to continually improve marketing output to the agency and the community. In addition, the Marketing Associate oversees the Marketing Engagement Program within the office, serves as a marketing liaison to the Home Office, manages all firm-wide marketing initiatives, and supports the select financial advisors in the marketing program.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

For the Network Office: • Promote and build the Northwestern Mutual – Twin Cities brand to enhance awareness and receptivity within targeted audiences

• Managing social media platforms, including content creation

• Track and measure the marketing program’s impact and overall ROI

• Deliver marketing education and training (workshops and webinars) to select financial advisors, their teams, and the Network Office

• Create marketing collateral, including internal monthly newsletter

• Special projects as assigned


For select Financial Advisors:

• Direct the development and implementation of customized marketing plans to enhance productivity and grow revenue

• Conduct regularly scheduled marketing consultations with financial advisors and their teams to help drive their marketing plans, budgets, and overall marketing integration


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or communications

• 3-5+ years marketing experience Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Highly detailed and organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects

• Ability to take independent action to make sound decisions with little oversight

• Ability to work effectively with people at all levels

• Strong in Microsoft Office programs

• Understanding of social media
