Description
The System, Software and Simulation Engineering (S3E) team within Intel Software and Advanced Technology Group (SATG) is driving software first strategy at Intel through early robust system simulators. We are transforming the way our product firmware and software is developed and simulated on a modern cloud computing environment. We deliver an integrated functional, performance, power, and thermal simulation several quarters before first silicon. We are looking for dedicated software engineers ready to engage in large scale software development projects, that will enable the new simulation cloud service at Intel, and optimize the continuous integration, continuous delivery, for virtual platform modeling.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support and Enhancements of existing CI/CD flows
- Support and Enhance fully containerized simulation loads on Intel internal cloud
- Enabling Data Collection and Telemetry
- Work on Data Analytics
Behavioral traits that we are looking for:
- Strong communication skills, able to communicate with users and translate these interactions into software requirements
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
6+ months experience with the following:
- Python and JS
- Shell scripting
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity CI/CD tools Jenkins/TeamCity.
Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes.
Experience with Splunk and/or Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch logstash kibana ).
Experience with Data analysis tools and Machine Learning.
