AECOM is seeking a Marketing Intern to be based in Glen Allen, VA.
This position is expected to begin in July.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Works with a variety of technical and marketing staff
- Supports senior marketing leads
- Works under general supervision and collaboration with the marketing leader and teams.
- Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.
- Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study
Minimum Requirements
- Currently in pursuit of Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English with an emphasis or specialization in Social Media.
- Must have completed 1 year of study.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn and Twitter
- Knowledge of social media publishing platforms
- Ability to work remotely using web-based platforms for meetings and project collaboration
- Understands marketing and communications
- Hands-on experience / previous internship experience using social media to promote an organization, group or business
- Knowledge of social media analytics and social listening tools
- Background in understanding and providing metrics-based recommendations to improve engagement and increase followers
- Proficient in MS Office (current version): Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong written communication skills
- Strong organizational aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to operate within a team setting
